Students arrived promptly at 8:30 Friday morning ready to start the day. They started off by resuming where they left off, talking about photosynthesis and cellular respiration. All of this discussion will better prep them for their trip to Bermuda on Monday! Later on in the morning, students experimented with two types of sand and acid. The results were fascinating. Below are pictures from the sand acid lab.

As the date becomes closer, students gather at school to learn about Bermuda before they embark on their trip. Today, they learned about algae, coral, general ecology of the island, classification, and much more! They also had a chance to go over to the YMCA to test out snorkel gear. Everybody seems ready to roll!
Welcome to the Bermuda blog! If you choose to check this page often, then you may be delightfully welcomed by the occasional blog post. But, on the very special occasion that Bancroft students are in Bermuda, you will be able to check here at the end of the day to see what we did on that specific day. This means that this here blog will be updated daily, if not more often. I am very excited to share with you the adventures and travels of Bancroft students while they are in Bermuda.
